GREGÓRIO SEMEDO UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC WEEK, 2025

Organized with enthusiasm and professionalism by the UGS Student Association, the 2025 Academic Week was marked by a diverse program that included thematic workshops, lectures, debates, cultural exhibitions, artistic presentations and moments of academic interaction.

The theme chosen for this year — “Science and Culture: the new challenges under debate” — fostered relevant discussions on the role of university youth in building solutions to contemporary challenges, encouraging active and critical participation on the part of students.

During the five days of the event, the UGS reaffirmed its commitment to the comprehensive education of its students, valuing not only academic rigor, but also cultural expression, critical thinking and the full university experience.

The University Rector congratulates the Student Association for its excellent organization and reinforces the institutional support for the continuity of this important tradition, which enhances academic life and strengthens the university spirit.
