The mission of the Gregório Semedo: Ciência e Desenvolvimento journal is to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge, encouraging the production and exchange of high-quality research. Our goal is to provide an accessible and collaborative publication platform, supporting the continuous development of science, innovation, and professional improvement, with a special emphasis on the diversity of fields of knowledge.

 

VISION

Our vision is to establish Gregório Semedo: Ciência e Desenvolvimento as an international reference for the publication of innovative and relevant research, recognized for its significant contribution to scientific advancement and the resolution of global challenges, promoting an open collaboration space among academia, industry, and society.

 

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The general objective of the journal Gregório Semedo: Ciência e Desenvolvimento is to create a space for the dissemination, exchange, and discussion of the most relevant results of scientific, pedagogical, and professional development activities. The journal seeks to significantly contribute to the theoretical and practical advancement of various fields of knowledge, promoting development and critical reflection on the sciences in their broad diversity.

 

EDITORIAL POLICY AND PUBLICATION GUIDELINES

Gregório Semedo: Ciência e Desenvolvimento is published every four months in the periods January-April, May-August and September-December.

It publishes its articles in Portuguese and English, also having a title and summary in Spanish. It is available on the Gregório Semedo University Intranet, the National Network and the Internet.

The journal is committed to the principle of open science, allowing free access to all published articles. All content is made available under the Creative Commons International License 4.0.

The journal supports Open Science and thus accepts manuscripts from preprint repositories or that promote the sharing of research data on data servers, among other manifestations.

Original articles, review articles, and editorials are featured in its pages (See Policy Section).
