Guidelines for Authors

The article submission process will be carried out exclusively online from the OJS Gregório Semedo: Science and Development platform, published on the intranet and internet. The author must complete all the metadata requested in order to have the required information about the authors and the manuscript. For the electronic submission of a manuscript, consult and follow the available instructions "Uniform requirements for submission of manuscripts".

Sending and receiving the relevant corrections through the online submission system implies agreeing with Gregório Semedo: Science and Development policies and, among other points, agreeing with the following rigorous and ethical aspects:

* The submitted manuscript is original and has not been previously published nor is it being evaluated for publication in another journal. Those manuscripts sent to preprint servers with assigned DOI are accepted. The Originality Letter will be attached as the last page of the manuscript.

*The manuscript complies with all Gregório Semedo: Science and Development publication guidelines.

*The manuscript complies with the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in the "Uniform requirements for submissions of manuscripts to Gregório Semedo: Science and Development".

*The documents cited in the manuscript are issued by authorized sources such as: prestigious organizations recognized by national or international organizations; refereed national or international scientific journals; repositories, as well as books and other documents that offer elements that identify authors or publishers responsible for the published content.

*The main author of the manuscript is responsible for all its contents and declares that there are no plagiarisms, conflicts of interest or ethical conflicts, releasing Gregório Semedo: Science and Development from any ethical and legal commitment.

Gregório Semedo: Science and Development provides free and immediate access to its contents. Copies and distribution of the contents may be made by any means, as long as the acknowledgment of their authors is maintained, no commercial use is made of the works and no modification is made to their contents without prior authorization.

The editorial team of this journal offers an estimated time between five (5) and six (6) months for the process of evaluating the manuscripts and their publication.

Shipment Preparation Checklist

The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal. Those manuscripts sent to preprint servers with assigned DOI are accepted. Access Letter of originality, contribution of the authors and declaration of conflicts of interest and prepare your declaration according to the model, also declare whether or not there are conflicts of interest. All this must be sent with "Complementary file" (Fourth step of the sending process).

The original manuscript complies with the "Requirements for Uniform Submission of Manuscripts to Gregório Semedo: Science and Development"

The references have been prepared following the requirements of the APA 7th edition standard. Wherever possible, DOIs and URLs for scientific articles are provided.

All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end.

The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which appear in About the Journal.
